Youth Weekly Schedule

Connecting Hearts Ministry: 4:30 p.m.

Awana: 6:00 p.m.
Youth Group: 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

**Important Note: Permission slips signed by parents/guardians will be required for anyone participating in activities which take us off the church campus. This includes our Connecting Hearts Minsitry.**

Sunday School

Sunday School happens every Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. Guys and Girls are split into separate classes although, occasionally, we will join together for a special event.

Connecting Hearts Ministry

We meet at 4:30 on Sunday evenings and then join the adults for Bible Study in the auditorium when we return to the church.  On occasion, we make a visit on Wednesday evening.

Connecting Hearts Ministry is a youth reaching out to connect with the adults of McQueeney Baptist. Presently, we mostly visit our shut-ins, presenting them with a teddy bear and a card signed by the youth. During our visits, we ask the adults to share any advice they might give the young people regarding their spiritual walk and life in general. We then pray for the adults. It is our aim to expand this ministry by reaching out to the community, but right now, Connecting Hearts is connecting with our adults, one bear, one card, and one prayer at a time.

Awana: Trek and Journey

Trek and Journey happen every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. during the school year. Come walk with us as we explore all the Bible has to offer with Life Applications and an emphasis on Scripture Memorization. (College Scholarships are available.)

Serving the Community

Habitat For Humanity

McQueeney Baptist Church works at Habitat for Humanity on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Youth are welcome to work but need a signed waiver from their parents. See Brother Steve for information on the waiver.
